Want to know who David was…His stature, black or white skin, the mind of God about establishing him as a King in Israel. Why nobody at that time but David.

Answer:

David is described in Scripture as being “red, with fair eyes, and good looking” (I Samuel chap. 16). The verses mention that he was not as tall, nor his stature as impressive as his brothers.

He was clearly a brave warrior (he was the only one prepared to fight again Goliath), and he was also clearly deep, emotional, and reflective (he was a shepherd and a musician, and composed the remarkable books of Psalms).

If you wish to get a better picture, I recommend reading through the book of I Samuel, from Chap. 16 and on, and the first chapters of II Samuel.
