Why do we have more mitzvot than the goyim?
Answer:
As the people chosen by G-d to reveal Him in the world, and to bring His belief to all, we are charged with the responsibility of applying the Divine word to the world. We do this by means of the Torah. The mitzvos of the Torah are themselves the Divine word, which receives clothing of physical deeds by means of our mitzvos. Non-Jews, who were not chosen for this purpose, naturally have less mitzvos, and the mitzvos they have are related to the physical function of the world, rather than to the spiritual rectification that the performance of mitzvos brings.
