If someone by mistake uses a grater on eggs on shabbos, can the eggs still be eaten on shbbos or after shabbos?
Answer:
The eggs are permitted for consumption on Shabbos. Although it is forbidden to use a grater for eggs (Mishnah Berurah 321:26), this is a rabbinic prohibition because of uvdin de’chol, and the product is permitted, even on Shabbos itself.
