Double-Wrapping for Microwave

Is it permissible in any circumstances to heat food in a microwave that’s used to cook non-kosher food?

I’ve heard that double wrapping is okay but don’t want to rely on this until I’m sure that’s okay.

For example, there’s a staff microwave at work. Would it ever be permissible to heat something kosher in it, that was sealed with plastic etc

Answer:

If there is a need, it is permitted to use the microwave for that is “double-wrapped.” The wrapping must be leak-proof, such as two Ziploc bags or Saran Wrap.
