Washing after Marital Relations

How does one wash hands after being with ones wife? Is it like negel vasser, 3 on each hand with a utensil? Does washing apply to a woamn as well? And can it be done in the bathroom?

Answer:

After marital relations a person should wash hands three times with water, as with negel vasser (Shulchan Aruch 4:18; see also Magen Avraham, Mishnah Berurah, and Aruch Hashulchan, 239). This applies to men and women alike.

If this is not possible, one should at least ensure that one’s hands are clean before reciting a berachah (e.g. hamapil).
