Kvod hadayanim, shlita is it mutar to take a non jewish cooking course tasting and chewing the food but spitting it out & not swallowing? Rav todos for an urgent reply.
Answer:
It is not permitted to taste foods that may not be eaten, including foods that come under the category of bishul akum (Rivash 288; Taz 98:2; Peri Megadim 98 writes tzarich iyin).
However, one can rely on the heter of adding a keisam (slightly raising the fire) to permit the food.

Good luck and best wishes.
