Receiving Two Aliyos in Two Minyanim

Is there any makom in halacha to say that a person shouldn’t get 2 aliyos in one day in different sifrei Torah? (not in the same minyan or same sefer Torah.)

Answer:

The distinction between one minyan and another minyan is made by the Shulchan Aruch Harav (292:17-18), who writes that one should not receive two aliyos in the same minyan, but can receive in another minyan (he refers to another shul, but the same will probably apply to another minyan).

The Magen Avraham and the Mishnah Berurah (end of 282) write that a person should not be given two aliyos, but this again refers to the same minyan and the same keriah (they refer to an aliyah and also maftir), and therefore there is no reason to think that they differ with the opinion of the Shulchan Aruch Harav.

Note that even for the same Sefer Torah, this is not a full prohibition, and we find that a Kohen is given two aliyos where there is no Levi, though some write that he should preferable walk out to avoid this situation (see Teshuvos Vehanhagos 1:151).
