Entering Reform Temple

My friend, (woman) is invited at a Bar Mitsvà in Manhattan.
The Mother of Bar Mitsvà asked her to read a Pisgà, (public Torah read)so The Bar Mitsvà will be in reformed synagogue. The mother and the father of Bar Mitsvà are regular ortodox, and the same for my friend. The questions are: 1) She can go and pray in reformed synagogue? Can she read a Pisgà? Shavua a Tov

Answer:

She should not go to the reform Synagogue. Going in and participating in their rituals gives them a degree of legitimacy, and involves a problem of maris ayin and possible chilul Hashem.

See Iggros Moshe, Orach Chaim 2:40, 3:25.
