Immersing Coated Kettle

Does a ceramic tea kettle need tevilah even if some parts are metal like the handle? What if the kettle is metal but surrounded with ceramic on the out side and inside?

Answer:

The handle being metal will not oblgated tevilah.

If the kettle itself is metal, but it is coated with ceramic (and the ceramic is not just for decorative purposes), there is no full obligation to immerse the kettle.

Nevetheless, Sefer Tevilas Keilim writes that it is proper to immerse the utensil without a berachah.
