Nursing in Room with Sefarim

The Teshuvos V’hanhagos in chelek bais says that ideally, a parent should not change a diaper in a room full of seforim. Would the same apply to nursing? Is it forbidden for a mother to nurse her baby in the room full of seforim?
Thank You and Mazal Tov on the new baby.

Answer:

Thanks!

There is no problem of nursing a baby in a room with sefarim. The halachah of changing a diaper is also a chumrah, and it relates specifically to the ervah itself. This chumrah will not apply to nursing.

For a detailed analysis of the subject, see Machazeh Eliyahu of Rabbi Pesach Eliyahu Falk, and see https://dinonline.org/2011/03/02/changing-diapers-in-front-of-sefarim/ concerning changing babies in a room with sefarim.
