In my birchon it says to recite a harachaman for the baal habayit. Under that harachamn it says: “if eating at own table recite harachaman for self and wife”. My question is: If eating as a guest should/may one recite the harachaman for self and wife in addition to the one for the baal habayit?
Answer:
Yes, this can be done.
If reciting the birkas ha-mazon in unison, or when one person recites for everybody else, one would recite only the ha-Rachaman as printed. When reciting on one’s own, silently, there is no problem in saying them both.
