Haircut on Erev Pesach

If one didn’t take a haircut until erev pesach after chatzos can he take one then?

Answer:

No, it is not permitted to take a haircut on Pesach eve after chatzos, even if one tried and didn’t manage to take one earlier.

Under extenuating circumstances, one can go to a non-Jew for a haircut, and if no barber is available, one can take a haircut on one’s own.

  1. Once a person has started to take on his own and is unable to finish may he ask another Jew to help him since it’s magunah for him to take only half a haircut?

    1. if a non-Jew is available he should be asked. If this isn’t possible then under the circumstances one can be lenient.
