Teaching non-Jew Torah

Shabbat Shalom,

I have a question about goyim studying Tora’H.

I have heard it is forbidden, except if a person is on the conversion process, and have an agreement for his Rav.
The Rav also accepts him to study into a Yeshiva by that agreement.

I would like to know what is your opinion?

Toda raba’h for your time again! B’H :)

Answer:

As you note, it is not permitted to teach Torah to non-Jews, as based on the Gemara in Sanhedrin.

This applies primarily to the Oral Law, and not to Scripture itself (see Shut Seridei Eish 2:56) based on the Rambam in a teshuvah 149).

It is permitted to teach non-Jews those parts of the Torah that are relevant for them, and also matters of emunah (faith) that non-Jews are also obligated in.

Best wishes.
