Berachah for Sprouted Grain Bread

What is the brocha rishona and brocha achrona on sprouted grain bread? There is no flour in the ingredients.

Answer:

Provided that wheat is used, the berachah is “hamotzie,” as the berachah for all bread.

Although the wheat is not ground into flour, if the wheat is made into bread, it’s blessing will be hamotzie.

[There are sources indicating that bread was also made in this manner in ancient times, and we do not find halachic distinctions in this matter.]

If the grain used is not wheat by millet or other grains (not one of the five), the berachah will change accordingly.

Best wishes.
