Are there any halachic reasons why one should use wine that is mevushal over wine that is not mevushal – or visa verse? Is there something to do with non-Jews why one type of wine should be used or not?

If non-Jews will come into contact with the wine, it is better to use mevushal wine, as noted in a previous recent post.
Otherwise, there is no special reason to prefer one over the other, since mevushal wine can also be superior quality today.
