My wife forgot to take Challah on the challos she made made for Shabbos, and we realized this just before Kiddush. Is there anything we should have done?
Answer:
In Israel, there is nothing to do, and the challos cannot be eaten before Challah is taken.
Outside Israel, however, it is permitted to eat the challos, and to leave a small portion of them over, which is declared as the Challah after Shabbos.
Best wishes.
