Married in Chutz La’Aretz

Someone from Eretz Yisrael when to Chutz L’Aretz to get married. He will be there with his wife until after Pesach then return to Eretz Yisrael. His wife never lived in Eretz Yisrael. How many days yom tov she should keep? And what is the makor for this?

Answer:

He clearly keeps one day in principle, and keeps the second day as an Israeli in Chutz La’aretz.

Because this is the halachah for the husband, the wife will have the same halachic status. Although she has not moved yet, she is now together with him for all intents and purposes, and his home in Israel is also her home.

I have not seen an explicit source on this question, though the answer does not appear complicated. I will bli neder search a little more.

Best wishes.
