Can stickers be placed on paper on Shabbos?
Answer:
It is not permitted to stick stickers onto paper on Shabbos.
The concern is that this is included in the melachah of tofer (stitching), in that two bodies are joined together (as the Magen Avraham 340:18 mentions concerning two pages that are stuck together with wax).
If the sticking is temporary alone, there is some room for leniency (see Beis Yosef and Shulchan Aruch (and Rema) 317:7, and the Magen Avraham above), but where a sticker is stuck onto paper, the adhesion is permanent, and therefore it is not permitted.
