Dear Rabbi,

does a convert say Yarzeit for his non-jewish parents?

best regards and toda raba
Mirjam

Answer:

There is no obligation to keep a yahrzeit for a non-Jewish parent, but it is permitted to do so, and if you feel close to the parent this is worthy practice.

Please see here for sources and further details.

Best wishes.
