I bought a sandwich maker in Israel. Its made in China. Can i as a woman unscrew the machine and put it back together again? And how much has to be unscrewed? Can my husband do it?

You can do this, and it’s fine.
It has to be unscrewed to the degree that it cannot be used, so that its final “making” is done by re-screwing the screws.
