Going to Shul with Catheter

What is the Halachic position as far as going into Shul to join a Minyan when fitted with a catheter (due to prostate surgery) and is there a difference between a Minyan in the
hospital and one in a regular Shul?

Answer:

It is permitted to go to shul with a catheter, and to daven as usual, provided of course that there is not bad odor etc.

This has been ruled by many contemporary poskim, and in particular by the Tzitz Eliezer (Vol. 8, no. 1).

Best wishes.
