I read in a sefer that one should refrain from eating raw dough, because not doing so, will cause one to forget his torah.
What is the source of this? And is it challah dough only, or also dough of other baked things?
Thank you and shevua tov
Answer:
The Gemara in Horiyos (13b) notes that drinking the leftover water from the kneading of dough causes a person to forget one’s Torah.
There is no restriction on eating dough itself.
Best wishes.
