Yahrzeit in Leap Year

In a leap year, is a yahrzeit 12 months after a relative’s death, or on the same date a year later?
Answer:

The yahrzeit depends on the date, and not on a 12 month period.

If somebody died, for instance, on Adar I of a leap year, the yahrzeit will be in Adar of the next year, and not in Shevat.
