I heard that if one who wears his tzitzis out of his pants, should not wear the knots outside of his pants only the strings themselves. Is there any truth to that?
Answer:
No – not that I am aware of.
Those who wear their tzitzis out can have the knots out or in. Usually the knots are kept in, but probably for purposes of tidiness, and not for any halachic considerations.
