Physically Assisting Women in Need

Is it permitted for a man to make physical contact with a Jewish or goyish woman if they need assistance walking or getting up if they have fallen? Or if prohibited, then is there an aytza for this situation?

Answer:

Physical contact in this case is permitted and does not involve any prohibition.

The prohibition against physical contact between men and women applies to contact that involves some intimacy or closeness, and does not include helping somebody who has fallen down to get up, leading a blind person where this is required, and so on. See for instance here and in greater detail here.

Best wishes.
