Medical Condition for Yeshiva

Now I am filling out my application form for a Yeshiva where I want to be accepted to study Torah, and the application form asks about medical conditions/medications. When I had spoken earlier to one of the Rabbis who teaches at that Yeshiva that I am on medications, and we discussed the nature of these medications, we came to the conclusion that the issue was internal rather than organic (to which my psychiatrist agrees).

Must I mention it in the form?

Answer:

I think that it is correct to mention the medications. Although it might be an internal issue, it remains a “medication” that you are taking, and you should mention in on the form.

You can also mention that you have spoken about this to the relevant Rabbi and that he can provide details upon request.

Best wishes.
