Interrupting Amidah for Keriyas Shema

if someone realizes he has not said krias shema and the time will pass while he is davening the Amidah, can he say it during Amidah (in shema kolaneni)?

Answer:

Under these (highly unusual) circumstances, it is not permitted to interrupt the Amidah prayer, and the person will be considered an oness in missing Keriyas Shema.

It is only permitted to interrupt for Pikuach Nefesh, and for the purpose of the Amidah prayer itself. Beyond this, it is not permitted to interrupt while “standing before the King,” even for the mitzvah of Keriyas Shema.

Best wishes.

For an example of this matter, see Shut HaRashba 1:295 and Knesses HaGedola to 104:7 concerning interrupting to tell the baal toke’a that he made a mistake in blowing the shofar. Although this might result in people not fulfilling the Torah mitzvah, there is still no permission to interrupt in the middle of the Amidah.
