What happened to all the large stone’s of both Temples? Were they cut up or buried? Could all the temple stone’s been used for the outer walls we see today?
Answer:
There is no tradition concerning what happened to the stones of the Temples. The Temples were destroyed, burned to the ground and ruined, and the land was plowed up. There is no tradition (that I know of) indicating that the stones were reused in any way.
