Many times some eggs on the tray will crack on the way home from the store. Do I have to dispose of these eggs in keeping with the issur of not keeping open eggs overnight

As long as the egg is still in its shell there is no problem of leaving overnight, even if it is cracked. If the shell is removed there would be a problem of overnight eggs. If the eggs are mixed with something else [prepared for recipe] there is no problem.

  1. Presumably the end should say “there is no problem” (as per R’ Moshe’s teshuva)?

    • thank you, the correction has been made.
