Many times some eggs on the tray will crack on the way home from the store. Do I have to dispose of these eggs in keeping with the issur of not keeping open eggs overnight
Answer:
As long as the egg is still in its shell there is no problem of leaving overnight, even if it is cracked. If the shell is removed there would be a problem of overnight eggs. If the eggs are mixed with something else [prepared for recipe] there is no problem.
Presumably the end should say “there is no problem” (as per R’ Moshe’s teshuva)?
thank you, the correction has been made.
