When growing different vegetables in chutz laaretz, ie. tomatoes and cucumbers. Does one have to separate the plants for kelayim reasons? If so, how?

Answer:

Kelayim of Zeraim [vegtables] is permissible outside of Eretz Yisrael. See Kiddushin 39a, since even in Eretz Yisrael this type of Kelaim doesn’t produce something forbidden from benefit, in Chutz Laaretz it was left completely permissible. See Rambam, Hilchos Kelaim 1:3.
