How early in the day can I take the bath for mikvah? I would really like to take care of it early while the kids are in daycamp. Later on I will be busy taking care of the kids, and I have no help right now. Thanks!
Answer:
The bath may be taken early in the day. This refers to sitting in the bath which is intended to soften scabs and skin which are ready to come off.
If the bath is done early in the day, one must shower again at the mikveh and comb out her hair again before tevila.
As well as checking over the body, which should always be done right before the tevila.
