Bracha on Chulent Gravy

Does the liquid/gravy part of a cholent require it"s own berachah since it doesn't become one entity with the soild part of the cholent.

Answer:

Although it does not become one entity entirely, it is viewed and eaten as one dish. As such the rules of Ikar and Tafel do apply and the gravy which is deemed as secondary to the cholent would not require it's own bracha.

The Aruch Hashulchan writes that any mixture in which both parts come onto the fork or spoon in the average spoonful are considered a mixture with regards to these halachos.
