If you are at the grocery store and would like to buy grapes but do not know if the grapes are good or not, are you able to try them to make sure that they are good? If so how many grapes are you allowed to take without it being stealing?

Even one grape or any part of one would be stealing and is prohibited. If you want to taste, permission must be obtained from the owner or whoever else is in charge of the store at the time.
