Cheese in Soup from Meaty Pot

Can one put cheese in a soup that was cooked in meaty pot?

Answer:

If the meaty pot was not used for 24 hours for meat, cheese may be added. According to some authorities one should not make such a soup with intent to later add cheese. If onions were first cooked in the pot alone, they are meaty and cheese may not be added.
