Can a sick person daven maariv alone before nacht?

Question:

Where I live nacht is around 11 pm. I normally daven maariv with a minyan after plag hamincha. Today I am unwell, cannot go to shul and iy”H will daven at home alone. Is there please any heter to daven maariv after plag and before nacht?

Answer:

You can daven maariv at home after plag. But make sure you daven minchah before plag. If possible try to say shema again when it is night. Wishing you a refuah shlema.
