when I buy whole black pepper to put in my pepper mill, shall I check it the way that's shown for checking caraway seeds? I don't know that it would be possible to see holes in the black pepper!

Just spoke to the bug expert of the Eida Charedis. He said that whole black pepper is generally not a problem. It is praiseworthy to put them in a sieve before grinding.
