Am I allowed to get one Erev Simchas Torah
Answer:
In order to ensure that we properly prepare ourselves for Yom Tov, Chazal for bade us to take haircuts and according to many poskim to cut our nails on Chol Hamoed. Therefore one should not have a manicure done on erev Simchas Torah.
However if the person cut his nails on Erev Yom Tov he is permitted to cut them on Chol Hamoed.
