Considering that voluntary prayers are not permitted on Shabbos, if one should have a doubt regarding whether he prayed one of the Shabbos prayers, or if he prayed correctly, should he simply refrain from davening again?

He can daven correctly, only extra private requests are not permitted on Shabbos.
