My wife wants divorce and I do not. She wants guishur (amicable settlement in E. Israel) but refuses counselling/couple therapy/rav. What should I do ? 20+ year marriage, six children.
Answer:
This sounds very sad, but to the best of my knowledge, the Rabanut will not agree that a couple get divorced unless they first tried to work things out. So she is going to have to give it a try.
