Hi my question as follows, is there any problem halach wise for a women to wear pants being that Lo Tilbash is for women not to wear man’s pants but if there is women’s pants it shouldn’t be a problem right?
Answer:
According to most poskim it would also be lo tilbash for a woman to wear pants, even if it is slightly different than men’s pants. This is since pants are a man’s type of garment, even if it will be altered slightly for women it still remain a man’s article of clothing. Aside from this, it is also a problem regarding tzius for a woman to wear pants, as they will accentuate her legs.
