Question:
I have been looking at second hand cutlery on line can it be kashered?
Answer:
If it made of metal it can be kashered. There are a few point that you would want to be careful about in regard to kashering the silverware. The silverware has to be absolutely clean, which may be difficult to do if the design has cervices, or if it wasn’t cleaned well. Another point is that if the silverware has handles, as is common with many knifes etc. it is hard to clean inside the joint.
