Hi Rabbi I am Sephardic and growing beard for the Omer period until 34 days, however my mustache kind of grows curled up and gets heavy and is very uncomfortable and itchy I feel like I want to rip it off at time , I just want to know if I can trim it down so it does not itch so much

If he wants to trim his moustache because it interferes with his eating (not clear from the question), then it is OK.
If he wants to do it for refuah, also OK. However, an itch is not really a sickness, but merely discomfort, and the whole point is that we should be feeling some discomfort during these days.
