Shalom. Thank you in advance. I rented a car from a frum company many times. This time i didnt get a chance to empty the stuff i had in the car before returning it i had an envelope with money in the glove box the company claims they didnt see. Whats the halacha?
Answer:
It sounds pretty sad, but in order for you to claim anything from them you will have to prove that the money was left in the car, and that they took it. It is possible that they actually didn’t see it, but some worker or a different renter took it.
