Question:
Hi, someone by accident ate hot milchig soup w metal spoon from a fleishig Corelle bowl (hasn't been used in a week). What to do with bowl? Can it be kashered? How?
Answer:
Since the Corelle was only used for soup that was a kli sheini, it may be kashered. You can kasher it by waiting 24 hours from when it was used for milchigs, it should be washed out well and clean. Then you may pour boiling water over it, since it is only a kli sheini. Then cold water should be poured over it.
