Question:
My instant pot is MEAT. If I make rice that has no meat ingredients in it, may I eat the rice with cheese on it later?
Answer:
If you have Sefardi customs then you may. The Ashkanazi custom though is not to eat food cooked in a meat pot together with dairy, (the dairy should be eaten right afterwards). If the pot was not used for meat in the last 24 hours one should still not cook the pareve food in order to eat it with milk, however if the food was already cooked, without the intention of eating it with milk, it may be eaten together with milk.
