I used parve panko breadcrumbs thaf was certified as dairy equipment to cook fish but used a meat pan. What’s the status of fish and pan, has it being rendered trief?
Answer:
For the future please be careful that this doesn’t repeat itself, however in retrospect the fish and the pan are not trief. The reason is that even though the bread crumbs were made with machinery that was used for dairy, we can assume that the machinery was not used for actual dairy in the last 24 hours. Therefore it will not render the pan of the fish trief.
