If BeSha’at HaDechak, I am unable to make it to hear Kriat HaMegilla BeTzibur, can I be Yotzei by listening to a recording while simultaneously reading it from a Kosher Megilla Klaf? If so, are Brachot recited? Thank You
Answer:
If you are reading from a kosher megillah then you are yotza, and you should say the brachos before reading the megillah. however since you are not reading the megillah with a tzibur you would not say the bracha after the megillah.
