What's the Eitza in a Shul not to have a problem with lost items and Hashovas Aveida..?

Answer:
The eitza is that the shul should put up a sign stating that anyone who enters the shul is doing so with the understanding that any item left there for more than 30 days becomes hefker, and the gabboim of the shul may do whatever they would like to with it.
