Question:
May someone who runs a private kindergarten take a blank check as a security?
(The check should be signed but no date or amount filled in. Also the "To" line should be left blank.)
The idea is that by registering the child in the private preschool, that space is filled for the year.
The yearly tuition is broken up into monthly payments, which makes it easier financially on the parents. If the child does not remain in the kindergarten, and the space is left vacant and not filled by another child, the remaining tuition amount would be filled in on the check and deposited or cashed.
