After which word do you release the tzitziot when saying Sh’ma of Arvit on Yom Kippur

Question:

My question is: After which word do you release the tzitziot when saying Sh’ma of Arvit on Yom Kippur? During Shacharit throughout the year, it says to kiss and release the tzitziot at l’ad, but for Arvit on Yom Kippur, it doesn’t say when to release them (during Sh’ma it says to kiss them in the places where we kiss them during Shacharit).

I apologize for the short notice in asking this question.

Thank you for your help.

G’mar Tov and Tzom Kal!

Answer:

The time that we release the tzitzit all year round when saying shema is at the same place. The fact that the people printing the machzor didn’t write it thre must have been an oversight.

Have a gmar chasima tova

  1. Arvit of Yom Kippur is the only time we use tzitziot, so there is no way to relate it to where we release them during Shacharit, i.e., the words that follow Hashem Elokaichem Emet are different in Shacharit than they are in Arvit.

In any case, thank you for taking the time to answer.

    1. We only hold the tzitzit, when saying shema in the morning, but not at arvit. therefore you will not have this problem.
